Objective
The International Association for Green Energy (IAGE) Student Chapter Symposium 2026 is a one-day, in-person event hosted at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), Canada. The symposium brings together graduate students, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss recent advances in green energy technologies, with a focus on electrochemical energy systems.
The event promotes collaboration between key research environments at UQTR, including the Hydrogen Research Institute (IRH) and I2E3 – Institut d'Innovations en Écomatériaux, Écoproduits et Écoénergies, fostering interdisciplinary exchange across hydrogen technologies, sustainable materials, and energy systems. The program includes invited talks from academic and industrial experts, student oral presentations selected through an abstract submission process, and dedicated networking sessions.
Participants will also have the opportunity to visit advanced research facilities, including laboratories dedicated to fuel cells, water electrolyzers, and battery technologies, strengthening collaboration and engagement within the research community.
