IAGE Young Researcher Award


The IAGE Young Researcher Award recognizes outstanding scientific work in green energy research by a young scientist or engineer. The award recipient must show exceptional promise as a developing leader and make outstanding and continuing contribution to green energy research.


Nominations are now open for Young Researcher Award 2025, and please send your nomination package to the Chair of the Honours and Awards Committee - Dr. Jing Shi (jing.shi@uc.edu) before March 31, 2025.

2025 Recipient

Professor Yunan Wang, Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Citation: For outstanding contributions in the development, industrialization, and performance optimization of proton exchange membrane fuel cell catalysts, as well as exploring their applications in fields like fuel cell vehicles, drones, and lunar rovers (land, air and space).


2023 Recipient

Dr. Huizhi Wang, Senior Lecturer, Imperial College London

Citation: For outstanding research and advancement of knowledge in electrochemical devices for energy applications.
